Maestra Claudia earned dual Bachelor’s degrees in Education and Spanish from Westmont College in Santa Barbara, along with her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. Her own journey as an English learner after immigrating from Cuba at age nine inspired her passion for supporting students of diverse backgrounds.
She loves designing purposeful lessons that spark curiosity, collaboration, respect, and creativity—values she hopes her students will carry beyond the classroom.
Outside of teaching, Claudia enjoys traveling, crocheting, cooking, playing pickleball, exploring the arts, and going on adventures.
