Erik began his teaching career as a Teaching Associate at San Diego State University, where he taught beginning through intermediate Spanish courses. His pedagogical approach centers on active participation, interactive learning, and connecting students with authentic cultural experiences from across Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. After inspiring college students, Erik is excited to bring his passion to elementary education, helping young learners build a strong foundation in Spanish and a curiosity for the world.
